About Sound Money Review
Sound Money Review is an independent publication about gold and silver investing, written for high-income professionals who want to understand precious metals before they put money into them. We were built for the reader who has done well in their career, has real assets to protect, and is tired of choosing between breathless gold-bug newsletters and dealers who only profit when you buy.
What we cover
Our work is organized into four sections. Gold & Silver Basics covers why investors hold metals and the honest case for and against. Ways to Invest compares bullion, ETFs, mining stocks, and IRAs. Buying & Owning is the practical side: buying safely, premiums, storage, and selling. Markets & Strategy explains what actually moves prices.
How we work
We are even-handed on purpose. Gold and silver have real uses in a portfolio and real drawbacks, and we cover both, including the costs and scams the industry would rather you ignore. We do not sell metals, we do not run paid dealer reviews, and we do not make price predictions or timing calls. Where we cite figures or history, we keep them accurate and general. See our disclosures for the full picture.
Who writes Sound Money Review
Articles are written and edited by the Sound Money Review desk. We are an independent publication and are not a dealer, broker, or registered investment adviser, and we are not affiliated with the former Wall Street Physician blog or its author. Nothing here is financial advice. For decisions about your own money, talk to a licensed professional. Reach us through the contact page.
